The CBS Super Bowl LV feature, BEFORE JACKIE, starring Academy Award winner, Viola Davis, was nominated for four 2021 Sports Emmys. The feature tells the story of oft-forgotten players who integrated the National Football League before Jackie Robinson did so in Major League Baseball.

We were nominated in the following four categories:

Outstanding Writing
Outstanding Long Feature
Outstanding Production Design
Outstanding Graphic Design

Being part of an amazing team is a beautiful experience that I hope every writer/artist gets to have. I got that opp this year with CBS and Viola Davis to play the role of WRITER. Now, we’re EMMY nominated! Congrats CBS crew!
